What a workbook can do. And where it stops.
Inner Alchemy is educational and reflective work. A page can help you notice something, question something and practise responding differently. It cannot keep you safe in a dangerous situation, diagnose you, or process serious trauma for you. It isn’t therapy, medical care or crisis support, and it isn’t a substitute for any of them.
The products are built with that line in mind. Where the material gets heavier there are clear stop points and support information, and some subjects are deliberately referred outside self-guided work altogether. Sometimes the right answer is to stop. You don’t have to finish a page because you started it, and there is no prize for digging something up when you don’t have the support to deal with what comes next.
Some areas also have a deliberately limited scope. The Self-Worth work, for example, is about beliefs and identity — it is not a substitute for working on safety, trust or trauma with a professional. Where evidence sits behind something, the products say so; where something is reflective or spiritual practice, they say that too.
If something feels bigger than a page, the better next step is an actual person. In Australia, your GP is a good first door. If you need support now, you can call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
